Over $300 million raised for our Food Bank clients!

It’s been a remarkable, heart-warming journey to reach this significant milestone. Over the past two decades, we have been privileged to work with 14 of the most distinguished food banks in America. We thank them for allowing us to work diligently to fulfill their missions and become a part of an incredible journey that has touched the lives of many.

Our team has continuously pushed fundraising boundaries in search of the perfect strategy for each of our programs.

“We have certainly appreciated Amergent and its creative team,” says Elaine Streno of Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee. “Since we signed with Amergent, our average gift has gone from $20 to $75. We have also increased the number of donors, which is most appreciated.” And she hastens to add that the biggest value is Amergent’s commitment to their mission. “The success of our direct mail campaign has increased significantly, but Amergent’s personal interest in our overall success has been what I have valued the most.”

Philabundance’s Evan Post shares his thoughts on working with Amergent:

“One of the biggest successes we have had in my time here came from one of the biggest changes we have made. While trying to determine the best way to reach donors at a time when hunger is the furthest thing from their minds, our account director proposed something radically different from anything we have ever done before,” he says: “When the piece dropped and results started coming in, we had our biggest summer to date. Every spring we receive an overwhelming amount of notes and calls from happy donors responding to our ‘Not At All A Ball’ appeal. The appeal explains to donors why we are not an events-driven nonprofit and invites them to spend money on our mission instead of overpriced dinners and tuxedo rentals. Our donors love this message and we inevitably hear over and over again how happy they are with our practices and how proud they are to be supporters.” He adds: “These are just a couple of the countless examples of the benefits Amergent has brought to our organization. In addition to helping increase our fundraising, they allow us to reach donors in a way that really speaks to them. With their help, we have been able to keep growing our donor base while still feeling a personal connection with each donor, and we are thrilled with everything that we have been able to achieve together.”

What’s up next for Amergent?

We are constantly striving to find more effective donor communications. With the addition of a team dedicated to digital media, we are working to master this media combining it with our direct mail efforts to surpass the $400 million raised for Amergent clients’ threshold!
