Mark Connors, Vice President

Mark joined Amergent in 2002 and is focused on marketing Amergent’s Portfolio web-based, data management solution.

Mark has over 17 years of database management and technology solution experience in the nonprofit and association markets. Over his career he has helped hundreds of organizations select, implement and utilize technology solutions ranging from PC-based client/server systems to high-end mainframe service bureau solutions to web based/ASP solutions. Areas of expertise include: fundraising software systems, membership management systems and web technology.

Mark is a regular speaker on the subject of technology for nonprofits. Seminars & speaking engagements include: AFP -Association of Fundraising Professionals, NCDC - National Catholic Development Conference, and ASAE – American Society of Association Executives.

Prior to joining Amergent, Mark worked for a number of technology companies serving the nonprofit sector including: Epsilon, GE Capital Consulting, Master Software Corporation (FundMaster), eTapestry and Impact Systems.

Mark serves as a Board Member on the ePhilanthropy Foundation, an organization dedicated to furthering the ethical and efficient use of the Internet for philanthropic purposes, is an active member of the Direct Marketing Association’s Nonprofit Federation, and is involved as a volunteer and board member for a number of local nonprofit organizations in his community.
