Database Analyst

REPORTS TO: Manager, Database Accounts

DEPARTMENT: Data Management

JOB PURPOSE: As part of the Database Account team, the Database Analyst will work closely with Amergent’s Portfolio clients to ensure the highest level of client service/satisfaction. The Database Analyst will provide end-user support and assist in file generation and analysis in support of our clients’ fundraising efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the execution of client fundraising campaigns.  This includes data enhancement and audience segmentation.
  • Provide Portfolio end-user support.
  • Assist in designing Report Layouts and formats, enhance existing reports. 
  • Maintain and enhance workflow documentation.
  • Perform quality control and data integrity checks on all outputs.
  • Manage workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in end-user training.
  • Assist in software testing.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Physical requirements include the ability to work on a computer for 8 + hours a day and occasional travel.
  • Must be an energetic self-starter with excellent client service skills.
  • Must possess good technical skills and aptitude.  Requires initiative, flexibility and professional skills in dealing with Management Staff.  Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A college degree and 1+ years of industry/Non-Profit experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of one of the following required; Fundraising software, MS Access, SQL.
