Database Analyst
REPORTS TO: Manager, Database Accounts
DEPARTMENT: Data Management
JOB PURPOSE: As part of the Database Account team, the Database Analyst will work closely with Amergent’s Portfolio clients to ensure the highest level of client service/satisfaction. The Database Analyst will provide end-user support and assist in file generation and analysis in support of our clients’ fundraising efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the execution of client fundraising campaigns. This includes data enhancement and audience segmentation.
- Provide Portfolio end-user support.
- Assist in designing Report Layouts and formats, enhance existing reports.
- Maintain and enhance workflow documentation.
- Perform quality control and data integrity checks on all outputs.
- Manage workflow to meet deadlines.
- Assist in end-user training.
- Assist in software testing.
- Perform other duties as needed.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Physical requirements include the ability to work on a computer for 8 + hours a day and occasional travel.
- Must be an energetic self-starter with excellent client service skills.
- Must possess good technical skills and aptitude. Requires initiative, flexibility and professional skills in dealing with Management Staff. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A college degree and 1+ years of industry/Non-Profit experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of one of the following required; Fundraising software, MS Access, SQL.
